Privacy Policy

Tridarsh ("we", "us") prepares astrology readings at tridarsh.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who processes it, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account: your name and email address from Google when you sign in.
• Birth details: name, gender, date, time and place of birth (with its latitude, longitude and time zone), and where your birth time comes from.
• Optional: a WhatsApp number, if you choose to give one.
• Your answers: how you mark each statement and any note you add.
• Payments (paid readings): handled by our payment provider; we receive only the payment status and reference, never your card or bank details.
• Technical data: basic server logs (such as time of request and error codes) to keep the service running.

Why we use it

• To calculate your chart and prepare your reading (the purpose you consent to).
• To show you your readings when you return.
• To measure accuracy: we count how often statements are marked right, partly or wrong, in aggregate, to improve the method.
• To reply to you if you write to us.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share your readings with anyone else.

Who processes it

• Supabase (database and sign-in), servers in Mumbai, India.
• Render (website and chart calculation), servers in Singapore and the USA.
• Anthropic (the AI that writes the reading text), USA. Your chart and birth details are sent to prepare the text; under Anthropic's commercial terms this data is not used to train their models.
• Google (sign-in only).

Some of these providers process data outside India. We use them only to deliver the service and under their data-protection terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and readings until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or complete it;
• withdraw consent and ask us to delete your account and readings;
• raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

Write to hello@tridarsh.com from the email you signed in with. We reply within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Other people's birth details

If you enter someone else's birth details, you must have their permission. Readings are not meant to expose or pressure anyone.

Age

Tridarsh is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell signed-in users.
